Sugarbears Have NEW HOME POOL for 2011 Swim Season

Happy New Year Sugarbears!

I hope the new year brings your family health, happiness, and many wonderful memories yet to be created.

It seems hard to believe but planning for the 2011 Sugarbears season is in full swing!

I wanted to spend a few minutes "chatting" with you about a question many have raised..."Where are we swimming in 2011?"

I have what I think is an exciting change to communicate to everyone!

After many hours of Board discussion both with the City and independently, including the evaluation of multiple options, the Board overwhelming supported our move to the Roseville High School pool. Some may wonder why the change and if it's good for the team. I'm here to say yes, it's a good move for our team AND our swimmers. Roseville High School sports a well-maintained, 6-lane pool Many of you may have participated in clinics at the facility or even Sugarbear practices when we've needed to vacate Oakmont for temporary time. It's a clean, cozy pool deck with bleachers running along the length of the pool.

TO READ ALL ABOUT THIS MOVE, click on this link to read a 2-page PDF Newsletter explaining all the details:

We are very excited about this change. We welcome any comments via email to: sugarbearsboard@yahoogroups.com

Sincerely,

Renee Ostrander
Sugarbears Parent Board President
