Spring Swim Clinics

CCA will not be running a spring clinic in 2007.
The City of Roseville will be running a clinic for those swimmers who are interested in doing some pre-season training. The focus of this clinic will be primarily stroke technique/development, race strategy, and conditioning. Here are the details.

Open to all recreational competitive swimmers with at least one year of swim team experience.

Dates: March 5- April 27
*No practice April 2-6 (Spring Break)

Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Location: Oakmont Pool

Times:
8 & Under: 6:00-6:45 PM
9 & Up: 6:45- 8:00 PM

Fees:
8& Under- $100.00
9& Up- $120.00

VFCAL Meeting Update

Yesterday, November 14th, VFCAL held a meeting to discuss and plan for 2007.

  • VFCAL Champs is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2007
  • Touch pads will be used for 2007 VFCAL Champs
  • Backstroke start will adopt High School and USS rule
    (Toes may be out of the water, but not curled)
  • Team Manager 4.0 and Meet Manager 2.0 software required
    (Roseville Sugarbears Computer Ops already compliant)

Strong Will Kicks Leukemia. Interviews and shoutouts to William Jeffries during Will's Walk in Roseville on November 5th, 2006. This community event was organized and led by Eich and Sierra Gardens PTCs. LaRae Bustamante, Jim Robinson and Colleen Hendon interview the supportive family, teachers, classmates, friends and community members. Roseville Sugarbears were just one of the many sponsors and participants for the event.
