Volunteer Clinics this week at the RAC

Tuesday, May 23rd. Starters at 6:00pm. Stroke & Turn clinic at 6:30pm.
Monday, May 22nd. Computer Ops training at 6:30pm.

Clinics will be held at the Roseville Aquatic Complex (RAC) this week in the evenings.
Our swim team could especially benefit by having more parents trained and certified for Stroke and Turn.
The more trained, the easier on our entire volunteer staff. The extra personal added benefit is knowing the proper strokes and turns to assist your swimmer and being able to recognize and explain a disqualification (DQ).
Stroke and Turn training normally includes a short video demonstrating and explaining the strokes/turns, common illegal mistakes, followed by open questions/answers and a live demonstration.
It is a very easy, quick and enjoyable clinic.
Even if a parent is not sure if they are brave enough or willing to be a stroke and turn judge, attending the stroke and turn clinic is highly recommended and appreciated.

Our very own starter, Pete Hradecky, will be providing the training for the starters.

Hope to see you on the pool deck of the RAC!
